I have refreshed three times and they only half load. Can't do a thing with the thumbnails.

Very creative!
Small note: I read "or side" at the end of the clue, but it goes in the middle.

That was a nasty one to start, but once the aha hit, it was pretty (1,3,4,5 + 1,2,3,5,6 + ocean)

Fun one Sammy - nice aha moment.
I did get a little hung up by 5 & 6 running together and wanting the answer to 5 to be 8 letters long.

I had problems with ALL the puzzles loading tonight. But on this one I had to right click and hit "show picture" on the last half of the thumbnails and enlarged pics.
*sigh*

A neat idea, but the the clues are somewhat inconsistent. Contrast #1 and #7 for example.

Nice idea, but I wasn't a big fan. Very creative though, just a PITA!!!

I have them all filled in, and everything fits, but it won't take. Should 5 and 6 make a word, cuz mine doesn't.
NM, got it, had the last one wrong.
And with that, I finally hit 100K, woot!

What a creative idea, a little inconsistent, but fun.

Five hours late and still bonus points, tedious much. Not great on a lower end set up, but innovative.

Very clever and nice to see a new idea for these, but man that was tedious. Should have had fewer answers, leaving out a many that aren't required to solve the clues.

[24] Amen.
EDIT: Wow, that just kinda rolled. I started with #11, and used that in some of the others. I still don't know where "#1 through #9" come from.

Tedious, but finally got answers to all. Unfortunately one of them must be wrong. Would anyone volunteer to check my answers?

w00t! First under 100 I do believe. As a next day solver, getting extra points is a new experience.
Took a minute or two for the aha, but straightforward after that I thought. Nice and adventurous sammydb.

I joined this site several days ago and was stumped by this puzzle ever since. FINALLY had the "aha moment" today. Glad to put a "solved" on this one.
