Is #3 missing a space? (never mind - I see my mistake.)

Good puzzle. Never heard of #12, though.

Got #3 ... it was #11 that I had wrong. There's an "A" in there somewhere.

No, never heard of #12 either. Only got it cause of the TV show (for the place).

Five stars of fun (if you know your states)
[3][5] That was my favorite growing up in the 40's my mother would bake it once a year on my birthday!
Thanks for the memory must67 - and for the puzzle.

Bah on my spelling of #7. And it's so delicious, too! Thanks for a fun one, must67.

There seems to be an error here: #3 isn't actually food. (Sorry, what can I tell you; I live in New England.)

Totally guessed the second part of #3 and still got 96th for 25 points.

For others who might make the same mistake I did on 3 - the island indicated isn't the long one.

After seeing how #2 was clued, I'm surprised there wasn't a similar offering from Philly...
[Edit] Ohhh.. A little catching up on old puzzles led me right to it!

I agree with [10] (and apparently most people living outside New York).
Why would anyone want to eat a tomato based version of #3?
EDIT: ...and I love Italian food!

Never heard of it, but [12] is interesting.
Named after the [12] Tea Room, in Charleston, SC, and not in [12] as the name would suggest.
It was featured in a novel by Owen Wister, called [12], published 1902.

#6 needs an 'N" on the end of the first word, I think. But would depart from the theme slightly. Maybe if you swapped the last two words for a leading "Baked"?

Google #3. It's the version in a tomato broth rather than creamy. And it's on the shelves where I shop.

[14] I spelled clue 3 wrong for a while... all "a's" in the location name.
[10] I'm from NE too, and while it is definitely available, nothing compares to the 'real stuff'!!

I thought #7 was great clues! And #3 is definitely legitimate, I love it... although knowing it has all A's in the location name helped (that was the only thing I had to google)

Man!! #3 was annoying, could have picked a better picture, but I got it finally. In my opinion Boston has the best!!

Geez, I just found out I've always spelled the city in #3 incorrectly, and I was born there. Shame on me.
