outstanding
Glad to hear it.
yAY!!!!
oops! double posted.
That's a really cool development ...
Now, we just eliminate spelling as a requirement and we are all set!
Well, yea hurray!
[5] Thanks to you for for all your suggestions
this is a good thing!
Case is fine, but I disagree with removing punctuation requirements being a good thing. The dumbification continues.
[10] I prefer to use 'dumbening' :)
[10]If you want to enter punctuation in your answers, go for it. If you want to create puzzles with hundreds of punctuation marks, go for it. As a matter of fact, puzzle makers can fully and correctly use punctuation now without fear of getting snarky complaints from users.
This simply reduces the complexity when comparing the user's guess with the puzzle maker's answer.
DoesntThatAlsoMeanSpacesAreNowOptional?
[13] Yes, but only for the purposes of checking to see if an answer is correct. The computer doesn't need them to check if you entered the right stuff. The solution text will still have them and you can still enter them.
Practically, you should be able to continue along as if nothing has changed.
[11] I call it Dumbth
Š†Ù¶ÊÑÐØÛ$!!!
[6] Now if we can just eliminate having to know the right answer, I'm all set!
Seriously, this is awesome. Thank You.
Now make my page load in less than 2 minutes at puzzle time. :-)
I think I have a effective best of about 15th just based on page load speed. Often I know the answer from the thumbnail, but have to wait to enter my answer.
(Yes, I have broadband, and no this is not a real complaint)
[17] Yeah, that 2 minute load time + 2 minute 'checking answer' time is brutal...and it happens just about every night for me.
kudos

iT no-longer matters if you use correct punctuation when:answering a puzzle, in accordance with the laws of gsub(/[^a-z0-9]/, ’’)
