Sounds like a plan to me. Pick a theme, take submissions for a week or two, post a poll for a few days, repeat. Be sure to specify image requirements (front and/or back, number of allowable ink colors, printed on dark/light, printable size, image resolution, etc.)

Great idea. Your rules also should contain a hefty dose of copyright no-nos.

I think this would be cool especially if you made it more in the "gamer geek" end of the spectrum. There are a number of T-Shirt contest type sites out there, but most of them skew more mainstream. It would be neat for one that (at least sometimes) plays to our peculiar brand of geekery.

I like the movie quote idea, but movie companies can be picky about their property.

How about "Board Game Suprise!" Things you never expected to find in a board game, or happen while playing one.

I'd prefer a boardgame or RPG theme for the first contest.

I would go with "monkey pirates playing board games possibly in some sort of brig" design contest

Using that argument ... I think I'd be better to have Satipo next to the "Throw me the idol ..." quote. He said it, he's more obscure, and it might just be cooler to have his picture there instead of just another Indy pic.

You know, my favorite image is still the black garbage bag with the Tanga logo on it. Classic.

Other random stuff aside, I think it should focus on the idea of "What does Tanga mean to you?".

Cryptopixes, One Word Wonders, Bottom Feeder, special deals (board games/gadgets), Hypercrosses, or Random Questions ...

A theme should be created around using strong imagery/mechanics from these aspects - all according to what the "artist" finds they associate Tanga with the most. It should be very Tanga. It would have to be that, if it isn't rather abstract (like the Tanga movie quotes), if I were to seriously consider wearing it.

A cryptopix that is "One Word Wonder" or a OWW that is "Cryptopix".
